McDonald has been charged with one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of drugs, stemming from McDonalds arrest after a traffic accident in May, the Los Angeles City Attorneys Office said Friday.McDonald faces an Oct. 7 arraignment and could face a maximum penalty of six months in county jail and a $1,000 fine if found guilty of the misdemeanor.The former USC star is expected to start against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, which would mark the Rams first regular-season game back at Los Angeles Coliseum. But McDonald, 25, could eventually face discipline by the Rams or the NFL.The charges were first reported by the Orange County Register.In a statement, the Rams said: We are aware the city attorney filed charges today against T.J. McDonald stemming from his arrest in May.
